The dining table is perhaps humanity’s smallest public space. It is where people share food, take turns speaking, and observe one another. Many relationships are mended, celebrations are held, and conversations take place around the dining table.
Taking the “dining table” as our starting point, we created a set of table-and-chair installations for eeelab’s Fermentation Festival. We view the “booth” as a modular, disassemblable, and reconfigurable micro-architectural unit.
